Madelyn Montana-Edwards is a dedicated attorney with strong Midwestern roots and a proven record of academic and professional excellence. Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois, Madelyn developed an early appreciation for hard work, discipline, and community. Madelyn attended Rockford East High School where she graduated with her high school diploma and associate degree through Rock Valley College at the same time.
Madelyn then attended Culver-Stockton College where she balanced a rigorous academic schedule, with the demands of collegiate athletics as a member of the volleyball team. Graduating summa cum laude with her bachelor’s in legal studies, Madelyn was also honored with the Outstanding Scholar in Legal Studies Award.
Following her undergraduate studies, Madelyn began her legal education at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, before transferring to the University of Missouri School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. During law school, Madelyn interned with our law office for the Summer of 2022.
After graduation, Madelyn worked with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office in the Criminal Appeals Section, gaining valuable experience handling complex legal issues, drafting appellate briefs, and oral advocacy. This experience sharpened Madelyn’s ability to craft persuasive legal arguments and navigate the intricacies of criminal law.
